My new WordPress theme went live today!  You should be seeing it now – purple stripey background, gorgeous layout, super-slick new banner.

This is how my new site makes me feel: …and maybe a little of this:

I love it!!  I have to give 100% credit to web developer and all-around computer wizard Mike Politowski for his amazing work on implementing this theme!  He did a lot of customizing and coding to make it work just right with my old database info.  Can’t recommend him enough, super friendly and all-around awesome.  He’s local to the greater Portland area, too!

I also got a new host that I’m really excited about.  Hopefully this means a faster-loading site with less down time.  It’s called Acorn Host and it’s a local woman-owned hosting service powered with 100% green energy.  Yes, you read that right: my site is now being catapulted into the interwebs using sustainable energy.  I’m so stoked on this!

The portfolio part of my site still needs to be moved so hold tight, that’s coming.  Everything else should work.  Please let me know if you find any problems – it is super helpful to know if things are broken so I can fix them.

Now that my site update drama is coming to a close, I’m hoping to get back on track with more regular posting.  Stay Tuned!
