Another week, another guest blog post at Burdastyle.com! This latest one marks the beginning of a new series: Vintage in Detail!  First up: a shamefully easy Rickrack Trick. What else…oh yeah!  I also wanted to share this video of patternmaker and teacher Shingo Sato making this groovy 3D oragami top.  I watched it in my breakfast nook while I let my bunny out to have some play time.  I had to keep pausing it because she has developed the nasty habit of eating my baseboards.  No, bunny, NO!  Anyways, here’s the video: I never thought I would say this, but his videos are MORE fun than Project Runway!  I found Mr. Sato’s videos through what I think is my favorite blog on the internet ever, Fashion Incubator, hemled by the peerless Kathleen Fasanella.   If you’ve never checked it out, go there now!
