Eeeps! This party has officially started. Today is Day #1 of my blog tour for my strip-piecing patchwork sewing pattern book, Stripped Down Patchwork!! Cheryl Johnson was kind enough to volunteer to kick off the tour with her behind-the-scenes post over at the Leisure Arts Blog about what goes on at a crafty publisher’s office during the making of a crafty sewing book like Stripped Down Patchwork.  I love it!  The crew at Leisure Arts is so much fun to work with.  I have to admit the behind-the-scenes idea was mine – after so many emails, I just really wanted to know what was going on over there! According to Cheryl’s post, there’s a lot of this….. And also some illicit project-wearing. apron from stripped down patchwork LOL. Cheryl’s post is actually a really good resource for folks who are wondering how craft publishing works and what craft publishers are looking for in a potential project and author.  How many other times do you get to go inside the head of a craft publisher?  Oh yeah, and don’t forget to head over there and get your comment in for a free copy of the book! Thanks for being a part of the tour, Cheryl!! If the book is all news to you, you can check out all the images of the projects from Stripped Down Patchwork here. You are cordially invited to follow along at all the dates and stops of my tour – we have a new one every day for almost 2 weeks!!  There will be lots more info about the book, interviews and TONS of opportunities to win a free copy.
